Kathleen brings more than twenty years experience building the talent strategies of high-impact philanthropies and social sector organizations as well as at mission-driven corporations. She founded Viewcrest Advisors to bring best in class executive search practices to a select number of clients seeking a highly personal approach to searching for diverse CEOs, CFOs, COOs and other senior leaders.
She partnered with two boutique firms after having spent nearly a decade at The Bridgespan Group, an affiliate of Bain & Company. At Bridgespan, Kathleen created and built a search practice that successfully led 200+ senior searches. She continues to advise Bridgespan on senior searches.
Earlier in her career, Kathleen worked in London and Boston with Whitehead Mann. She also spent seven years leading multinational searches in Europe and Asia for Heidrick & Struggles, based in Paris.
Kathleen co-authored an article in Harvard Business Review, “Get ready for your next assignment,” and has been widely quoted on leadership and diversity-related topics in Forbes, Bloomberg Business Week, The New York Times and The Chronicle of Philanthropy. She has also written numerous articles for The Bridgespan Group’s website, including a recent series of three interviews about effective nonprofit boards.
Bilingual, and a dual French and American national, she holds a BA in International Relations and French from Tufts University and an MA from New York University/La Sorbonne. Kathleen is a proud board member of the nationally recognized Riverview School in East Sandwich, Massachusetts. In her spare time, she is deepening her yoga practice, and enjoys ethnic cooking, photography of urban and mountain landscapes, and travel.
April Quigley, Director of Operations
April brings over a decade of program and project management experience in the health and human services fields. In her Operations Manager role at Viewcrest Advisors, she coordinates meeting logistics with search committees, spearheads research initiatives and ensures the smooth running of day-to-day operations.
Previously, April served as a Project Manager for the Massachusetts Department of Transitional Assistance where she collaborated with frontline staff, middle managers and senior leads to execute high profile agency initiatives. Prior to this, she served as the Employment Service Program Analyst where she worked across departments to design, implement, and monitor programs for welfare recipients.
April holds a BS in Marketing from Western Carolina University.
Nora Nichols, Associate
Nora has worked in project management, data analytics, and business development in both nonprofit and corporate settings. As an Associate, Nora focuses on research and relationship-building to expand the reach of our searches.
Before joining Viewcrest Advisors, Nora held a variety of roles with Operation Smile, both at headquarters and internationally. She collaborated with staff and foundations around the world, assisting with the management of the surgical outcomes program, and also supporting global fundraising and strategic partnerships.
Nora earned her BA in International Studies and Business as well as her MBA in Global Health from Old Dominion University. She speaks conversational French and Arabic.
